Life has its ups and downs and while it can be sometimes be calm and peaceful, it can also be extremely turbulent at times.  Many of us have a hard time coping when life becomes challenging.  Counseling can help people navigate life’s highs and lows more effectively. 

You may be seeking counseling because there is a gap between what you have in your life and what you actually want.  You are likely in pain and feeling stuck. Sometimes this gap includes not having the relationship or career that you want, or it may include getting stuck in negative thinking or feeling overwhelmed with painful emotions.

I help you narrow this gap by identifying what really matters to you and guiding you to access both your internal and external resources to better manage your struggles and get you unstuck.  Once your capacity to cope with the challenges life brings increases, it frees you up to expand into the life that you really want.

I am trained in several scientifically validated mind-body therapies. I combine person-centered talk therapy with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Brainspotting Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Polyvagal Therapy. 


I teach critical relationship skills including: speaking and listening, conflict management, limit setting, validation, repair, feeling emotionally safe with another person, strengthening your relationship with yourself as well as important others and much more. 


For clients who need to go deeper than traditional talk therapy can offer, I utilize cutting-edge, research backed, mind-body-relational therapies that helps us move from dysregulation to regulation, increases our sense of self-trust and  gets straight to our core issues to resolve them at the root.
